Describe what you do in your current position: I perform daily accounting functions, prepare the Monthly/Annual Financials for Internal Management and Board Review, prepare audit documents and oversee the annual audit process leading to the creation of the annual Tax forms and Financial Statements, maintain vendor files, payables & receivables, track and post endowment activity, and track and post Restricted Contribution Sources and Uses.
How long have you worked for Turtle Bay? How long in your current position? Since January 1990, and since April 2002 as Business Manager.
Describe other work experience or education: BS from SUNY @ Potsdam in Music Education, manager of my father’s Ford & Mercury Dealership, Manager of Facilities and Sugar Bush at Snow Ridge Ski Area, Abuse & Preventive Caseworker in Jefferson County.

What is your favorite thing about Turtle Bay Music School? Working with all the people who believe in it.
What is your favorite Turtle Bay memory and/or event? As a New Yorker, I go to many thrilling concerts and recitals given around town. There have been times in our Em Lee Concert Hall, when the adult or young person performing makes music magic; to me, these musical moments surpass those achieved by the professionals.
Do you play any instruments? Describe any musical background you may want to share! Piano and flute, but now I play the calculator mostly!
What is your favorite song and/or piece of music? Respighi’s Pines of Rome right now, but it changes.
Who is your favorite composer/songwriter? Too many to name.
Where are you from? A provincial village near the Canadian Border – Chaumont, NY.
Favorite color: Red
Favorite food: Spaghetti
Pets? Kids? Family members? My family is still in Chaumont, where I spend most free time.
Any other fun facts you’d like to include! I love to read, sail, hang around in the hammock, and make maple syrup.
