Ages 9 years & up • Meets Wednesdays from 4:45 - 6:15pm • Directed by Julie Desbordes

As a community music school, we believe sharing the joy of music with others is one of the most
valuable and rewarding benefits of being part of the TBMS family. We strongly encourage all students with at least two years of experience on their instrument to join the TBMS Youth Orchestra!

In this ensemble, students explore pieces from the symphonic repertoire as well as traditional and folk pieces. This is a fun and challenging opportunity for students of different ages and levels to learn from each other and grow as musicians. Working in a symphonic setting helps students learn ensemble playing skills and the importance of teamwork. The Youth Orchestra is an excellent place for those studying privately to make new friends! It’s open to current TBMS students and new students.

Students should have at least two years of experience on their instrument. Audition is required.

Auditions for the 2018-19 school year will take place on Wednesday, October 10 at TBMS's new location, 330 East 38th Street. Contact Sarah Grosman at sgrosman@tbms.org to schedule an audition and receive audition materials.

Current TBMS students: Annual dues: $250

New students: Fall dues: $570 + $45 reg. fee
