Turtle Bay Music School’s 13th Annual Perform-A-Thon will take place May 18-21, 2017. Our goal is to raise $125,000 in support of community music!

Perform-A-Thon is a whole weekend of nonstop music making! It is also the cornerstone to our annual fundraising campaign to help TBMS provide free and low-cost music education to New York City students, musical outreach to community centers, and free concert series for the community at large, as well as fulfill all scholarships and financial aid requests. The 12th Annual Perform-A-Thon was our most successful yet, raising over $112,000! Our most popular and exciting school event of the year, the Perform-A-Thon features performances by Turtle Bay Music School students, faculty and alumni, community members, and special guest artists on instruments ranging from voice to violin, piano to guitar, trumpet to cello, and harmonica to Brazilian drums. The event also showcases participants in our community music programs, including The Saturday Music Project, and features a bake sale and raffle.
Perform-A-Thon takes place from Thursday through Sunday one weekend each May. The 13th Annual Perform-A-Thon will take place Thursday, May 18th through Sunday, May 21st!
The Kickoff is a special concert and celebration to start Perform-A-Thon weekend! Our special guest artists will be announced soon.
The Kickoff Concert is free and open to all. TBMS suggests a donation of $20. All performances during Perform-A-Thon weekend are FREE! Each Perform-A-Thon performer is asked to raise a minimum of $40 to support TBMS’s fundraising campaign. Click here for a list of fundraising tips!
