Each year, TBMS students, faculty, community members, and supporters come together for a whole weekend of non-stop music making! Perform-A-Thon is the cornerstone of our annual fundraising campaign to help TBMS provide free and low-cost music education to New York City students, musical outreach to community centers, and free concert series for the community at large, as well as fulfill all scholarships and financial aid requests.
Each Perform-A-Thon opens with a themed Kick-Off Concert, featuring special guest and faculty performers, and continues with three days of community music performances. All are welcome to participate in this family-friendly event. Performers are asked to raise a suggested donation in support of TBMS’s community music programs.
Perform-A-Thon is also made possible through the sponsorship of businesses and individual donors. For more information, click here to learn about our sponsorship levels or contact Julie Rulyak Steinberg, Executive Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each year, TBMS hosts a benefit for community outreach programs. Our 2017 event, “If You Sing a Love Song,” raised over $50,000 with the help of our many generous donors and attendees!
Details about next year’s benefit will be announced in late 2017. To find out how to sponsor this event, please contact Julie Rulyak Steinberg at email@example.com. We also welcome donations of items for our raffle and silent auction.
