Favorite age group to teach: All ages are fun!
Favorite style of music to teach: I enjoy teaching many styles of music and love helping my students understand and play a variety of guitar styles. Improvisation is a topic that I always like to touch upon regardless of style.

What’s your favorite musical memory? Getting my first guitar was a big moment for me, I haven’t put it down since! Music and guitar is a huge part of who I am, it’s what I do!
What do you like best about teaching music? I love the interaction, the journey of helping someone learn an instrument, the discovery of music students might have never heard of. I love passing on what I have learned and continue to learn about music.
What is your favorite composer or musician? Thelonious Monk
What is the first piece of music you ever learned? “Sparkling Stella,” better known as “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,” it’s in the first Mel Bay Guitar Method book.
How many hours a day do you practice? Two hours, sometimes more when I can.
